Unlock Insights and Elevate Research Analysis: InCites Users Group Meeting a Resounding Success

The Office of Institutional Research and Planning at Hong Kong Baptist University, in partnership with Clarivate, successfully hosted the inaugural InCites User Group Meeting on August 20, 2024. This event brought together over 60 delegates from the eight public universities and top private universities across Hong Kong to explore InCites, the analytics tool, and its impact on advancing research analytics.

The sessions commenced with welcome remarks from Mr. Alcome Chu of Clarivate and Dr. Jingwen Mu from the Office of Institutional Research and Planning at Hong Kong Baptist University. The meeting featured insightful discussions on the latest developments in InCites and its practical applications within institutions. Participants received hands-on InCites training and were awarded certificates to acknowledge their successful completion of the InCites training.

The gathering exemplified the collaborative spirit within the Hong Kong research management community, with a strong convergence towards a data-informed approach to enhancing research data management practices and applications.
